Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". She is also known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin started her acting career when she was just seven. Her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, helped her land an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing substantial roles both in the television as well as the film industry. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a skilled photographer as well as a ballet dancer. She is a mom of two, and also the face of Lupus. Since her sister's tragic death at the age of 19, Martin has worked to raise awareness about the disease.
